Don’t Re-invent The Wheel

The quickest path to success is to find someone who’s already done what you want to do. Every single successful person that I’ve ever spoken to, listened to or learned anything from says the same thing.  In fact here’s a great little quote from a book that I’m reading at the moment, by Mal Emery…

“…Success in any field of endeavour, whether it’s your business, your health or your relationship with others, takes effort!  But, more importantly, it has to be the right kind of effort. As well as that, SUCCESS IN ANYTHING TAKES CONSISTENT ACTION!

So, if you’re not successful right now, or want to improve on what you’re doing, find yourself a mentor and model them.  MODELING OTHERS WORKS.”

Everyone is successful at something.  Sometimes you just need to ask the right questions to get to the most important information.  Anyone can teach you how to be successful, it’s just that some people can take you there quicker.

If you want to shortcut the process find people who are getting the results you want.  That’s always a good place to start.
